HOW TO WEAR THE CARGO PANT

There’s actually something classically appealing to the cargo pant—dressed up right. Cargo pants are among the best casual pants you can own.  They have evolved over the years and the closet staple now comes in a variety of styles. “slim fit”, “baggy” and “utility”.

Cargo pants also graced the runways of a couple of our favourite designers too. Burberry had cargo leather trousers and jumpsuits for its 2022 resort collection, while Fendi featured big, utilitarian pockets in shorts for its men’s spring 2022 collection. 

HOW TO WEAR CARGO PANTS

There are no rules for styling them, of course. It’s all in balancing the cargos with more minimal, unfussy pieces.

They come in a few different colours, and you can style them in a variety of ways. Today’s cargo pants fit slim through the leg, even tapering at the ankle for an easy cuff and are a great casual alternative to jeans.

Tapered, rolled up, or cropped cargo pants keep things stylish.  Baggy styled cargo pants should be paired with figure-hugging tops or crop tops to create a more flattering silhouette. 

The trick it seems is to wear Cargo pants with slim fit t-shirts, tank tops and fitted shirts. So, while selecting your top, prefer fitted ones.   

If you want to dress up your cargo pants, wearing them with a statement blouse will make it an easy outfit for going out. A blouse is always so feminine and add that feminine touch.

You can pair the pants with strappy heels for a night out or go casual with sneakers or pair them with an oversized shirt tucked halfway and boots.  Either way, the adored style has made its way to our closets over the past few years, and it’s not going away anytime soon.
