There are certain colour combinations that I just love and I’m adding lilac and green to that list! I find pairing lilac with green to be super gorgeous and feminine. The colour combination reminds me of the Little Mermaid! I would never have thought to pair these two colours together, it is such a unique colour combo but the colours work so well together and I'm loving it.
Pairing pretty pastels with rich green tones makes for colourfully chic ensembles, but I really do love the idea of wearing lilac with a soft mint, there is something so dreamy about lilac and mint – the resulting looks are bold but not overwhelming, and absolutely perfect for all seasons.
STYLE TIPS FOR WEARING LILAC AND GREEN
Lilac, a softer shade of purple, is not only reminiscent of how fresh spring is, but also possesses a glow that is warm and inviting. Green, in nearly any shade, would be the perfect partner to pair with lilac. Lilac is a pastel that feels modern and elegant, making it the perfect option to add to your wardrobe.
Wearing the colour combo couldn't be easier. Wear a dress in a solid colour and add a coat or jersey in the contrasting colour, or just add shoes in the contrasting colour if you don't want to colour block your outfit.
Wearing a print with both colours is the easiest way to rock the look.
If you are feeling confident and bold, try a suit in one of the colours and pop a simple tee under neath in the contrasting colour, or a monochrome outfit with a contrast colour shoe. Wearing the trend couldn't be easier and such a great way to express your individual style.
