GEOMETRIC NAIL ART
15:22:00NAIL TRENDS
I'm loving Geometric nails at the moment, there is somethings so simple, yet elegant and sophisticated about them, it is one of those styles that suits everyone. I love how easy it is to do and looks beautiful on short and long nails! Geometric nails are great for mixing and matching a variety of colours and patterns, your nails will always look fresh as there is almost an infinite combinations and possibilities and the best part about geometric nail art is that it can be pretty easy to DIY if you have a steady handy and a roll of tape.
WHAT ARE GEOMETRIC NAILS?
HOW TO DIY
Cut up all your tape before painting your nails. After applying your base coat and letting it dry, paint on your base colour and let that dry. Then position the tape on your nail and apply the next colour. Remove the tape while the polish is still wet. If you let it dry, removing the tape will take all the polish with it. Let it dry fully, then apply your top coat. Remember to do one colour at a time. Clean the sides with a cotton bud and you are good to go.
Do not be afraid to experiment with the lines, angles and shapes. The lines or shapes can be placed on one, two or all nails. Most often, the more complex the design, the less the number of nails it covers.
I thought it was time to showcase a few of my favourite geometric nail art, whether you plan to DIY your nail design at home or take the inspiration to a technician once you check out the designs, you just cannot get away without trying this trend.
